Surprisingly, in this film, more females than males watched it. A percentage of 53% female compared to 47% males, shows that this film was more appealing to a female audience. This is very uncommon in horror films as stereotypically, females only like their rom coms, and males are the ones who like all the gore and violence of a horror film. This film may be very helpful with our trailer, as if we are able to discover why it appealed more to females than males, we may be able to reach a female audience so that more people watch our trailer.
The majority age group that watched this film was 15-24, which is a common age group for horror films. The percentage of people was 64%, which is quite high. When creating our trailer, we want a high percentage of our viewings to be from a 15-24 group as they are the target audience we are trying to aim for.
