The Story: When high school student Wendy Christensen (Mary Elizabeth "THE RING 2" Winstead) fails to stop a roller coaster ride that she correctly predicted would cause the deaths of several people, she teams with a schoolmate in a race against time to prevent the Grim Reaper from revisiting the survivors of the first tragedy. The film marks a return to the franchise for co-writers James Wong (who also directs) and Glen Morgan, who performed the same roles on the original 2000 hit.
 
 
 
 
The main group of people who went to see this film was 15-24. This is the target audience that we want our trailer to appeal too as a wide number of people go to the cinema at this age. This film's certificate is 15, which we want our film to be, as that way we are able to fit in the target group. The percentage of males and females who watched this film is quite similar, which means it was a film that fit both genders. Ideally we would want our trailer to appeal to males and females, so we may need to watch this film to find out how the trailer appeals to both genders.
